Known use: The bark is applied externally to treat fever, in Tanzania, a cold water extract of its root bark is used to treat bilharzia. In Cameroon, its twig bark is used dried and pulverized for the treatmentof blenorrhagia and as a decoction to cure chest pain. The ash of its roots is used for the management of liver complaints.
