Known use: North African traditional medicine does not mention a possible therapeutic use of the species, but the sister species Scrophularia deserti growing in Saudi Arabia, is used in local folk medicine as an antipyretic, hypoglycemic, cardiotonic, diuretic in thyphoid fever, a remedy for kidney diseases and lung cancer.
