Known use: The leaves and whole plants are utilized in the traditional medicine for treatment of sores, cough, inflammations, skin wounds, cold, toothache, lung diseases, and renal disorder. Also, it is employed as astringent, appetizer, diuretic, and anti-asthmatic. The seeds are also considered as aphrodisiac and expectorant. The roots charcoal is applied to the eyes to improve vision.
