Known use: Used for their anti-inflammatory, antipyretic, antitumor, and cicatrizing effects. It has been reported that extracts of marigold show anti-HIV and hypoglycemic activities, gastric emptying inhibitory activity, and gastroprotective effects. In addition, triterpene fatty acid esters isolated from this flower extract showed anti-inflammatory and antiedematous activities.
